Edge of Sins is a Slovenian metal band formed in 2012. Their music walks the edge of the commandments of modern society, challenging common perceptions of existence and life itself - something that is often understood as sinful in today's world.
Since its inception, the band has faced numerous lineup changes. However, in 2016, the lineup finally stabilized and the band released their debut album My Escape. In 2018, Edge of Sins ceased activity due to the departure of two members, but resumed activity in late 2025 with yet another new lineup.
Their debut album My Escape is a concept album, guiding the listener through ten songs into a world where honesty, love, and friendship are overshadowed by envy, lies, and constant haste. Within this world, a soul that still believes in harmony tries to find its place, with the central question being: can it bring hope to others as well?
Their second studio album, scheduled for release in 2026, will once again walk the edge of the unknown and the forbidden, but this time featuring harsher vocals and more pronounced guitar lines.
Edge of Sins je slovenski metal bend, ustanovljen leta 2012. S svojo glasbo hodijo po robu zapovedi sodobne družbe ter izzivajo številna splošna pojmovanja o obstoju in življenju samem, kar je danes pogosto razumljeno kot grešno.
Od svojih začetkov se je skupina soočala s številnimi spremembami v zasedbi, ki pa se je leta 2016 končno ustalila in izdala svoj prvi album My Escape. Leta 2018 sta dva od članov odšla iz zasedbe in posledično je skupina prenehala z delovanjem, konec leta 2025 pa je ponovno začela ustvarjati v znova prenovljeni obliki.
Njihov prvi album My Escape je konceptualni album, ki poslušalca skozi deset pesmi popelje v svet, kjer se iskrenost, ljubezen in prijateljstvo podredijo zavisti, lažem ter nenehnemu hitenju. V tem svetu se poskuša znajti duša, ki še vedno verjame v harmonijo, glavno vprašanje pa je: ali ji bo uspelo upanje prenesti tudi med druge?
Drugi studijski album, ki bo izšel leta 2026, se bo prav tako sprehajal po robu neznanega in prepovedanega, vendar tokrat s tršimi vokali in izrazitejšimi kitarskimi linijami.
